Making a small pot boiler for steam generation
Copper end plates for 54mm copper tube. They're excessively thick, 3mm, and thus very hard to work. No need for stays on something this size.
All the bits and pieces - the threaded fittings are made from bronze.
Set up to soft solder end plates (I didn't have enough heat with the Cadac burner I owned at the time to silver solder - let alone the skill).
Scew jack support for first end plate can't now be used, so wing it.
Check the regulator valve and safety valve for fit.
Compare to previous version of boiler. These all eventually rust.
Finished for now.
